Very first post
I'm writing this at 3:00 AM, after spending hours on end trying to find the best way to start my blog. After much thought, I came to the conclusion that to start off the simplest way would be best. I considered building a website or starting a blog on wordpress, substack or some other hoster, but I think that for now Bear Blogs would fit my needs just fine :). I'm really excited to try this out and see where it will lead...
I've also thought a lot about what will I post here. Many of the tips I saw told me to find a "niche", but I'd rather just figure that out along the way... For now, I plan to post here some more personal and journal-like blogs, and some media reviews (music, movies, shows, games etc.) and maybe some long-form writing, who knows! I'm still new to this and figuring a lot of things out so bear with me, no pun intended.
Oh, I almost forgot to talk about the blog's name! Well, there's not much to it really... "Nighthawks" by Edward Hooper is my favorite painting, and I think the word just sounds really beautiful, and I love the imagery of a flock of little birds roaming the night, like I usually do :)
